Manou Selhorst previously appeared in our performance ‘Testament of a Journalist’. Now she created her own (graduation) performance ‘Maître Nageur’ within the directing course at Toneelacademie Maastricht. For this performance, Manou Selhorst was inspired by the hotel in Marrakech where her grandmother has resided for forty years. Together with seven performers, she explores themes of longing and past glory in a mixture of dance and theatre.

Theatre director Chokri Ben Chikha travelled to Israel and the occupied Palestinian territories early this year in preparation for his new play ‘Persians. Triumph of Empathy'.
